This morning at approximately 10 am Engines 7,10,18 Ladder 1, Chiefs 2,3,5 responded mutual aid to the town of Narragansett for a 2 alarm fire

Matunuck Fire Department, July 16

The fire was located under a porch on the rear the house. Engine 18 went to the basement to check for hot spots and smoke conditions while Ladder 1 set up to the roof. Engines 7 & 10 went to the second floor to check for extension and smoke condition’s. Shortly after 8:30 this morning stations 5,7&8 were dispatched to Wordens Pond for a reported helicopter crash

Matunuck Fire Department, April 09

Engine 18 Marine 7 and Unit 7 along with multiple other stations responded. Marine 7 Boat 8 and a boat from Kingston Fire were launched and headed to the scene of the accident. While enroute Boat 9 reported 2 people self extricated and were on board a private vessel. No one else was inside the aircraft. 1 patient refused treatment and 1 was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. ... (Full Story & Photos)
