The members of the Matunuck Fire Dept are saddened to announce the passing of Capt. John Carpinelli (life/charter member). John was not only a great firefighter but also an amazing friend to everyone within the department and beyond. As well as volunteering for the fire district John spent a lifetime of helping and giving back to his community in any way possible. He will be greatly missed by all. Please keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral Arrangements will be posted as soon as they become available.
